You can delete your Into the Record account, and everything stored with it, from inside the app. It takes about ten seconds and needs nobody's permission.
That is the whole process. There is no waiting period and nothing to email.
It cannot be undone. Deleting removes the account itself and everything below. If you sign in again afterwards with the same Apple ID, Google account or email address, you get a new, empty account.
Signing out is not deleting. Signing out removes the copy on that phone and leaves your account and everything in it intact, so you can come back to it. Use it if you only want to hand the phone to someone else.
If you have lost access to the phone or to the sign-in method, email us and we will delete the account for you. Write from the email address on the account if you can — if you signed in with Apple and used its private relay, tell us the relay address you received mail at, so we can find the right account.
We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
